NVUM V2 USB Controller

Post by MDurie » Tue Jun 26, 2018 12:24 pm

Hello,

I received a Novusun NVUM V2 USB controller with my CNC kit from Aliexpress. When I copy the plugin to Mach3 and power the controller on, it asks me for a .BIN file to upgrade. I have no idea what this is and where to find this file. If i cancel, it pops back up and I cant move past this message. Ive messaged Aliexpress Seller and im receiving no reply from them. Please tell me where I can find this .BIN file so I can try to use my machine.

Thank you,
MDurie

Interesting I thought that the only difference between the Demo Version and a Registered version was that the Demo only allows 500 lines of Gcode but is 100% functional ????

@lollette It is registered version. This message ONLY appears with the NVUM V2 controller Plugin Installed and the NVUM V2 powered on.

@Lonewolf this is NOT a demo version of mach3. This is a Regisitered version that works just fine with other controllers.

my point about Demo version, was I would think it should function fine, as I used the demo version for a while and they just sent me a License file when I paid NFS I didn't have to re-install a different Mach-3

BUT anyway you have cleared up that you are running Licensed version :D

@lonewolf OK, I understand you now. I finally got a reply from Jacky Bulkman and was the most generic BS ive ever seen.

@lolette I need the Firmware Bin file for the NVUM v2 controller so that I can flash this Thing and make it work. Please send the file or direct me to a location where I can obtain this.

@lollette and any other Admin.

It has been about 2 weeks now and still nothing from your guys regarding the .BIN file for this product. I am in DIRE Need of this file as I can not proceed any further forward without this controller working. IF you do not have this file, please direct me to who does have it so that I can get this product re-flashed and working.

Thank you,
MDurie

Sorry I don't have any answers for you but I thought about an NVEM for my setup as I need 200KHZ but all my Reading at CNCzone Forums is saying these devices are not compatible with Mach3

So I don't know who to believe anymore
